My Story

 MJID was founded in the summer of 2012 by Marina to start her true dream of having a full service Interior Design business. Carrying out her real passion for Interior Design she has a creative sense at anything she does. 

Marina has been in design since high school working in a full-service design studio in Hendersonville, NC. Graduating from Western Carolina University with a B.S. in Interior Design Marina has been in Western North Carolina for over 25 years in the design industry business.  

Marina enjoys spending time outdoors with her kids Amelia and Quint and her husband Sam. They love to travel especially to the beach in their RV! They also have two dogs, Liddy and Emmett and old cat Sparkle.

Enjoying every aspect of design and crafting into the nights Marina's energy is contagious and is in everything she does.
