Meet the Designer behind MJiD
The Beginning
Marina Z Johnston is the lead designer and founder of MJiD. She has always had a passion for design and has a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Western Carolina University with a minor in Art. After graduating, her experience continued with one of the top design firms in her hometown, Hendersonville, NC, starting in the late nineties. Even after 2009, she worked with several different showrooms and manufacturers before starting her design firm in 2012. Several years fast forward and many different strategies, MJiD was developed in 2020 and has been growing and gaining clientele all across the United States as a concierge design firm.

At MJiD, we believe that great design should be accessible to everyone. We strive to create spaces that are not only aesthetically pleasing, but also functional and comfortable. We work closely with our clients to understand their needs and preferences, and use our expertise to bring their vision to life.
