Marina holds a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Western Carolina University, with a minor in Art. She began her career at a respected Hendersonville design firm in the late nineties, learning the craft from the ground up and building a deep fluency in the way a space shapes how people feel.
She founded her own firm in 2012 and relaunched it as MJiD in 2020. What people feel in the work comes from something simple. She listens closely, and she cares, deeply, about every home she is trusted with.
She is versatile by conviction, at home in every style, because design belongs to the person living inside it. Whatever you love, that is where the work begins.
